If you do nothing else today, make sure you watch the documentary, Between the Folds. It shows a magical connection between science, math, art and design through the world of origami. My experience with origami has always been folded hats, birds or cranes.
This documentary demonstrates the amazing creative vision of origami artists. The short film shows incredibly complex shapes and figures; some abstract and some quite lifelike. All of the pieces have to be created from one piece of paper using no cuts or glue. And the results are astounding.
So for a creative jolt of energy spend 50 minutes of your time watching Between the Folds. A simple piece of paper will never look the same again.
