Un-multi-tasking

A good day for a nap.

Things I did today:
Coffee with a friend at 7:00am!
Paid my taxes
Got my photo taken for a passport and filed my passport renewal forms
Took the car in for a tune up
Cooked dinner for 3
Cleaned up 2 dog accidents and took 2 long walks

And...
Spent a total of 7 hours in the studio- although you might not know to look at the progress that I made. Lots of color studies, lots of different crops, and still no final resolution. But I feel like it is moving forward.

Got my final instructions on the Nancy Crow workshop which of course gave me butterflies- but did not paralyze me. Have to decide which quilts to bring. That will be a hard choice.

Best part of the day? Probably taking a 35 minute nap- between the remnants of the flu and 2 long walks with Barley, I really needed it. David has always been able to take naps- I always have so many things that I want to or need to do- that I rarely allow myself the luxury of nodding off in the middle of the day. It felt really good today. And it probably gave me the energy to work in the studio until 10:30. Still have lots to accomplish tomorrow morning.
