Studio progress

It has been extraordinarily hard to be away from the studio while it is being built. Luckily the wonderful crew from Geobarns sends me photos and progress reports every other day, so while I can not be there, I can still feel a part of it. Here are some progress photos:







But perhaps one of the neatest aspects is that all of the flooring will come from buildings that my son has helped to deconstruct. It is 100 year old pine that has been salvaged from deteriorating Baltimore buildings. The non-profit that Max works at is call Details and they help provide work force training to those who have been previously unemployable.
